After checking various websites I called the Indian consulate in the UK. Their phone numbers are always engaged. I checked a different website (www.indiavisaservice.com) offering visa applications, as the consulate no longer accepts postal applications for Visas. I rang this company, and they seemed professional. They said the visa would be issued in 5 days. I downloaded and filled out the forms. I quick stop at the post office and I was done. Now to work out where else to go…
