Accommodation

There are endless guesthouse options in Chiang Mai.  But
unfortunately, prices do not always reflect standards.  If you
want a swimming pool then definitely spend more on the room to ensure
good quality.  Tip: Don't head straight for SK guesthouse, there
are much better options.

Britannia Inn

Fantastic place in every respect.  This British-Thai run
place has British standards throughout. Ultra clean and tidy rooms with
lovely bathrooms, AC, comfortable beds, furniture and some have great
balconies.  The resturant downstairs is run to British standards,
and is probably the cleanest you'll find in Chiang Mai or even
Thialand.  The food is fantastic and a great place to get a fix of
British/Western food.  Highly recommended.  400-550 Baht for
double with AC.

T-Guesthouse

SK Guesthouse

A large and popular guesthouse, but many people only stay one night.
The rooms are drab and need modernising.  There is a
swimming pool, but it lacks any sort of relaxing area.  Rooms
around the pool are noisy.  Free pick up from the train station.
Double room with bathroom is 400Baht.
